At ASR, Dr. Scot Sorum uses strength and conditioning, combined with postural correction to allow your body to return to optimal health and function of spine, posture and nervous system. Dr. Sorum uses state-of-the art technology and techniques to assess and treat patients. Dr. Sorum's work, in partnership with the patient, helps restore spinal curves and rehabilitate connective soft tissues for a long-term approach to overall wellness.

About Dr. Sorum
Dr. Sorum has been practicing in the Puget Sound since 1998. He is a graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Sorum is a nationally certified strength and conditioning specialist and has expertise in nutritional supplementation.

"I have passion and conviction for what I do and for the phenomenal effect it has in people's lives. I was a patient for five years before I went to chiropractic school so I bring a unique perspective to my practice."

He is an instructor at the Pettibon Bio-Mechanics Institute, which specializes in postural and structural correction. The Bio-Mechanics Institute partners with Spinal Technologies Company to provide chiropractors with the latest research in Spinal Bio-Mechanics as pioneered by Dr. Burl R. Pettibon and his associates. Dr. Pettibon is widely considered the "Father of Spinal Bio-Mechanics." Dr. Sorum also has advanced training in at the Chiropractic Leadership, Educational Advancement and Research Institute (CLEAR) and including advanced training in Scoliosis care.
